CEO​

Dr. Xiaolie Qi

Dr. Xiaolie Qi graduated from the University of Sydney Australia, Peking University China and SKEMA Business School, France. Member of Principal’s Network, Harvard Graduate School of Education(HGSE).

Dr. Qi has chaired the organizing committee and moderated several international conferences. 

He has held senior management positions in prestigious overseas universities, as well as in UK listed companies. 

His main research interests include social media marketing, consumer behavior, new media and international communication. He has published papers in SCI, SSCI, EI and Chinese academic journals, and is the chair of the organizing committee and moderator of the International Conference on Machine Learning and Big Data 2021.

Dr. Jill Geiblinger

Dr. Jill Geiblinger is the Principal of Royal Gateway, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and CRICOS approved provider, delivering vocational education qualifications to both domestic and international students. Jill possesses extensive experience in managing educational institutions, having worked exclusively in this industry her entire working career. Prior to joining Royal Gateway, Jill held roles as Executive Director (Academic) for Shafston International College, including a partnership with the University of New England, delivering UNE Bachelor and Master’s degrees to both domestic and international students. As Manager of the Learning Campus for The Creche and Kindergarten Association (C&K), Jill led the Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications of the College. She also was a Member of the Early Childhood Education and Care Reference Committee for the Queensland Department of Early Childhood and Education (Qld State Government). Jill’s other roles have included the titles of CEO of the Australian Business School, Academic Director of CBD Golf Pty Ltd and other managerial roles within the education sector. Possessing postgraduate qualifications, including a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Jill is well positioned to expediate the growth of the College into new markets and new disciplines, whilst at the same-time adapting to emerging industries and capturing new technologies in Royal Gateway’s course offerings.

Peter Kellett

Peter is the director of Information Technology and eLearning at Grace Lutheran College and Director of FIRST LEGO League & FIRST Tech Challenge Queensland.

Peter has served nearly 20 years educating Australian youth with a primary focus on Technology. Peter is a National leader in the field of educational robotics for high school students and has taken young people all over the world to compete in robotics competitions. Peter proudly took the first Queensland team to the FIRST International Robot competition in 2015. In 2017, Peter’s team represented Australia at international robotics competition, the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) in Mexico and successful took home silver for International Unity, as well as received silver for the Walt Disney Imagination and Creativity category.

Peter is responsible for Managing Grace Innovation and Enterprise – Grace Lutheran College’s community focused program. GI&E seeks to engage the wider community on a local, national and global level. The programs are principally based on Technology (Robotics), Music and Performing Arts and well as active Sports programs.

Gael Sparks (Gael)

Gael has worked in a number of industries and organisations. As a result of this Gael can offer her students a broad range of skills and experience. This 30+ years’ experience has encompassed diverse industry sectors both locally and internationally. Her formal qualifications in Business and Management supplement an extensive corporate experience which includes Business ownership in retail and hospitality along with consulting to the business, manufacturing, and retail sectors. Gael tries to facilitate personal growth in her students and inspire positive change. This is achieved through one-on-one practical and instructional strategies. These strategies assist students to enhance their learning by bringing theories and business models to life in a practical, down to earth and exciting way. During Gael’s first session with students, she helps them to set goals in the three most important areas of their lives. During subsequent sessions Gael provides structure, feedback, perspective and encouragement to help her students overcome obstacles and to capitalise on any insights gained while working through their study to achieve a work ready outcome.

Prof. Yougan Wang (Gary)

PhD (University of Oxford) | Chief Investigator, Queensland University of Technology

Professor Wang is the Lifetime Member of Institute of Mathematical Statistics, Elected Member of International Statistical Institute (ISI) and member of International Biometrics Society (IBS).

Professor Wang has experience in designing statistical curriculum for both undergraduate and graduate students and biostatistics curriculum for Dentistry and Life Sciences students. It is Professor Wang’s view that we need to stimulate creative ways of student thinking instead of solving textbook problems. This can be achieved at teaching all levels of courses.

Professor Wang’s research interests include developing statistical methodology for correlated data analysis, robust inferences and model selection and applying advanced techniques that help to solve important problems in medical sciences, environmental research and natural resource management.

In applied statistics, Professor Wang has been working with multidiscipline teams on a wide range of problems. Their findings have significant impacts in resource management (fisheries and hydrology) and clinical trials (biostatistics). Professor Wang has been invited on a number of occasions to organize/speak at international conferences and to review journal papers. His work has substantial impacts and scientific innovations in statistical modelling and data science.

Professor Wang has published 140+ papers in international journals with more than 3,000 SCI citations (h-index 32, see http://scholar.google.com.au/citations?user=MNUkTMQAAAAJ&hl=en).
